I've tried every old-school way I know by adding vert and horiz frequencies my monitor supports by hand to xorg.conf, adding the modes by hand, and removing DPMS, but when I run the nv server it resets everything back to normal (it doesn't remove the modes I added by hand but it doesn't recognize them due to automatically detecting the monitor anyway). I am trying to get it to run 1280x960@72, this was the nicest resolution supported by my monitor in XP/Vista. Any help is appreciated. Driver 96.43.01 on Geforce2MX400/64 (hey, it runs UT!).
