I have a Debian (woody) Linux and I have problems with sound after I've installed accelerated nVidia drivers.
When I want to view a video or to listen mp3 - sound freezes on a 1-3 sec. If I press "pause" twice - everything is fine, but not for long... I have a Pentium IV, motherboard - Gigabyte GA-8IE533, inetgated audio AC'97, nVidia GeForce 4... Kernel 2.5.70, XFree 4.3.0... AGP works fine, no error messages in logs... If I use non-accelerated xfree driver 'nv' - everything is fine... Tried also with kernel 2.4.20 - same problem... Does anybody knows what to do?!? Last edited by Lich; 06-13-03 at 04:33 AM. |
