ubuntu gutsy gibbon + 8800 gtx
does any linux user here know if the upcoming release of ubuntu 7.10 (gutsy gibbon) will fully support the newest linux nvidia driver for 8800 gtx? unlike the disastrous ubuntu 7.04 (feisty fawn)... hopefully it does, bcuz i want to play around with compiz fusion, looks fecking awesome!

yeah i m usin it w/ 100.14.19 driver
it sometimes freezes...but thats not gutsy problem...but the gfx driver problm... make sure when u install gutsy it installs nvidia-glx-new driver and not nvidia-glx... it automatically install nvidia-glx-new for me. |
