Xserver failed to start...

Hello all,
I followed the instructions HERE.
Running the installer was with no error messages. After reboot the Graphical Interface didn't work anymore. I had to change /etc/X11/xorg.conf and replace in the Device section nvidia by nv. I attached the nvidia-installer.log
I tried the driver installation with 'Envy' but also no success. Envy developer Alberto Milone recommended that I ask in this forum for help.
My Graphic Card is a Geforce FX5200, which is supported by the new driver. The OS is Ubuntu 7.04 amd64-bit.

You'll need to generate and attach an nvidia-bug-report.log which captures the problem.

I just repeated the installation and had the famous black screen with the black on white message; Failed to start Xserver. ...
I attached the log.file and the xorg.conf files (Xserver working and not working)


EDIT:
I wonder if I should give more information, other log-files, needed to solve the problem?

Thanks for responding...no I didn't yet. In fact I'm not sure how to do that with a Linux OS... Could you, please, give me some directions?

Edit:
I started my Windows XP installation and I checked the Gigabyte website - they have an update tool "@gigabyte" - and it seems that there is no newer version available (GA-K8NS-Ultra-939 F10)

Please, can somebody explain to me how I could "Please enable the IOMMU option in the BIOS setup".
Maybe this is the reason why I can't get the nvidia driver have installed properly!

I still try to get nvidia driver updated to either 9755 (nvidia-glx-new) or 9631 (nvidia-glx), not to talk about the newest nvidia release!

This proofs your suspicion:

I had to edit /boot/grub/menu.lst:

1) Find this section and add "iommu=noaperture":
## ## Start Default Options ##
## default kernel options

BTW:
There must be a conflict between my BIOS (Phoenix Award Ga -K8NS Ultra-939 F5) and the kernel so that AGP aperture is not reported correctly. It works right now with the nvidia-glx-new driver but sooner or later I have to get a BIOS upgrade. Can you tell me how to get an update for "Phoenix Award GA-K8NS Ultra-939 F5" BIOS?
