Default Is GeForce 7000M supported?

I can't find this GPU in any list of NVIDIA driver's supported GPUs. I've read here that it works under linux with a binary NVIDIA driver, but I don't know if not being officially suported causes any problem: freezing, no 3D accelaration, etc.
It would be fine if anyone had some information about this GPU.
Thank you very much.
