Hi all...
I'm trying to make the framebuffer display on a tv... X is configure and display everything perfectly but without it there's no way to obtain tv-out...tried with fbset but no luck and nvtv out of X complains with a "No supported video card found".... Is it possible to use tv-out with the framebuffer alone? And if it is how can i manage it? I'm using a Gentoo with Nvidia drivers updated... Thanks in advance.... |

This is not possible. The only way to get tvout in the console is to boot the system with only the TV attached. A framebuffer driver might mess the console up though.
