Default Question for Andy

Andy, I started another thread with an issue that is probably related to the KT400 MB and AGP 8x card problems that you have mentioned previously. If you look at my X Config file (below), I have added the Option "Nvagp" "0" to my configuration file but in the log file (below), it shows (II) NVIDIA(0): AGP 1X successfully initialized. Now, I had previously set the BIOS to AGP 1X, hoping that would cure the blank screen problem.

My understanding is that the Nvagp option overrides BIOS and OS and disables AGP but the log file does not support that. Any idea why the option is not disabling AGP for me?

When AGP is disabled (nvagp 0) all AGP features are off. The card becomes about a PCI card but it still runs at twice the speed of pci (33MHz). And that 66MHz is the same speed as AGP 1x. (S o SBA, FW, agp texturing are all off and what is left is the 66MHz)

Default Nevermind

I think I figured it out. The NvAGP option has to be spelled right and I guess it was not, I can turn it off now.
