Default LCD laptop monitor and horizontal/vertical refresh.

Hi, I have a laptop with a 1280x800(60hz) monitor.

What I need to use in xorg.conf as vertical/horizontal value?

In my xorg.conf I have:
Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Monitor0"
VendorName "Unknown"
ModelName "Unknown"
HorizSync 30.0 - 60.0
VertRefresh 56.0 - 65.0
Option "DPMS"
EndSection

30/60 for horizontal and 56/65 for vertical...
Is this right? How can I set the correct value?

Please help.
Thanks!

Just remove those lines. It will normally be autodetected.

Yes. The driver reads the EDID from the display and gets all this info.
There can be problems because nVidia reads things from the EDID that are not there (like the "native resolution") but that is not what you complain about.
The horizontal and vertical ranges are correct in about every EDID, because those are very basic things.
