I receive one some days ago to test CUDA for my (scientific) code since it is highly parallelizable. Too sad when I figure out that the driver was not yet available...
Hope the driver will be available soon! |

AFAIK all my usual suppliers won't have the card in stock before the third week of November.
Hopefully we'll have working driver before I replace my aging 6800GT with a very expensive space heater... ![]() - Gilboa

If/when there is a beta driver release (do they do beta's?), where will it be announced?

Hey guys, what about the new driver released with CUDA 1.1 (beta) yesterday? I dont have an 8800GT to test it on, can someone keep me posted? Also, if any of you are running the card under CentOS 5, let me know how things work.
Cheers! -boll0107 |

boll0107,
The display driver that was included with the CUDA_1.1 beta release does support the 8800GT for CUDA usage. |
