@Jarzebski: Did you test antialiased trapezoids "-aatrap300" or normal opaque trapezoids "-trap300"?
Because as far as I know opaque trapezoids have been accalerated since quite some time, only trapezoids with antialiasing and/or alpha caused software fallbacks.

How does FireFox (preferable 3beta1) perform with the new drivers when displaying complex SVGs?
It would be interesting because thats a real-world application which worked not that well before.

I turned on Composite and windows transparency/shadows in KDE. The speed is the same like for ordinary 2D. So if previously Composite was very slow and now there is no difference between composite on/off the speed up is obvious.

I feel light speed up in ordinary 2D too. However the difference is not so high like with Composite.

I do not use benchmarks. Real applications are the best benchmark.

Heheheh...I can certainly believe those benchmarks. I have Vista on one of my hard drives....I hardly ever use it, because it's good for absolutely nothing. Such a poor excuse for an OS..

yes, but real applications don't output numbers.

Cairoperf basically does what typical advanced 2D apps do (using cairo), therefor its not a bad measurement.
