Default No TV out

I'm having problems trying to get TV out working on my Acer TravelMate 630 series notebook. I've tried a number of different XFree configs, but with no luck.

I'm running Debian testing with version 1.0-4192 of the nVidia drivers. The chipset in this laptop is a GeForce2 Go. I've attached and XFree config file that I thought should work, but doens't. I get no display on either my TV or laptop screen.

As I've said, I've tried various permutations of my XFree config file (eg. using secondmonitor) . I do get dual head display (using a different conf) on the extenal monitor output though.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul.

Default Does anyboby know the answer?

It seems no one out there has got TV out working on this laptop and has any advice. Does anyone from nVidia monitor this list? If so, have you got any suggestions?

All of the various permutations of my X config file produce no errors, and the logs seem to indicate that everything is fine. ie. sets it PAL-B (Australian standard), sets up resolution correctly etc. Yet, no display. So, besides not being able to see anything, it all seems to work fine!

Has anyone got any idea at all? I can post config files and log files.

Cheers,
Paul.

See the response at the bottom of this thread:

I dunno if it'll help, it didn't for me.

I'm beginning to think that TV-Out is just not going to work for me at all...not good, as I bought the hardware specifically to do TV recording

As for NVidia monitoring the posts, doesn't look like it, does it?
