Default How to know % occupancy of GPU

Hi,

I've a kernel and I've generated .cubin for it.

It uses 64 threads and 2K of shared memory.
Number of registers used are 13.

1) How do I know percentage occupancy of GPU? I'm using CUDA_Occupancy_calculator.xls currently.

2) How do I lessen the register count? will the number of parameters passed to any function play part in occupying registers or only local variables occupy registers?

Thanks in advance...

Wow...

Someone my prove me wrong but I think this is well over the heads of just about everyone here.

You might want to try a forum dedicated to CUDA or graphics related programming. Maybe Beyond3D.
