FWIW, the 30 minutes I spent on Hellgate: London left me feeling MUCH more satisfied than the hours I have spent on TR.

The game still has a ton of useless, bugged crap in it. There is still no endgame. It's just a shooter fest. I feel much better playing TF2 than this pile. Why would anyone want to work through a buggy, junky looking game when their is no endgame objective and no class balance to boot? Every class has something bugged or useless.


The game is typical Korean MMO trash. WoW has set the benchmark for new MMOs to achieve. This game doesn't even come close. You better believe the 'next big thing' will. How does Lord British expect to sell this crap? He needs to pull his head out of his ass and team with someone better than NCSoft for one. And for two, he needs to quit thinking he's the king because of UO. The reason they put his name on the box is to try to sell it, without it, nobody would have went for it.

Seems to me you are pissed that the game runs like crap on your machine so now you are just complaining to complain. You are complaing about AA, when you can't even run it without it atm?...lol.

Why are you bitching about endgame when you've played only a couple of hours? Did you buy the game just to bitch about it? Seems pretty ridiculous to complain about stuff you aren't even close to seeing yet.


Anyway, fix your PC or get your eyes checked..the game is fine graphically. Like i said before, it looks better than both of your "great" MMOGs, which i happen to been playing for years now...there is no contest. And it runs better than EQ2 as well.

Play it, don't play it...no one will care...i'm done.

Yea, I need to get my eyes and PC checked to fix their ****ty Korean MMO engine. I decided to run with AA, forced through control panel no less since their implementation is nothing more than a check box. Even then you HAVE to disable Deferred lighting, which disables Specular Lighting, Static and Dynamic Shadows as well. That really makes the game look like ass. My PC runs top notch and can run any game bar Crysis with at least 4x AA and pretty high quality textures WITH nice lighting effects. The engine in this game is just too ****ty to cope with it. You know why they use the ****ty engine? To keep the cost of the game low by not licensing a decent one or spending money on developing a good one. I'd be willing to bet they just recycled one of their old engines for this title.

My point about the game play was that I could tolerate some bugs and balance issues if it was at least decent to look at, but it is not.
