169.07 Overrides Fix For System Freezes and Black Screen Flickers!

For the past month I have for the first time enjoyed no screen flickers and system locks thanks to the fix provided here running the 100.14.11 driver:

This was after 5 months of having to put up with it!

There are literally hundreds if not thousands of people mentioning this fault all over the place! I'm almost tempted to scout this forum and post every mention of it so we can count the almost countless amount of people with this problem. Why on earth does this fix no longer work?

Was to be expected. Nvidia never said anything about the fix and (at least in my case) the issue was said to be not reproducible. Sad but true - I'm no longer waiting for a fix (the next notebook will fix it though...)
