Asus Striker Extreme.
My sound card works fine. It's just that when plugging in the HD audio plug to my sound card from my Cosmos 1000 case, when I plug in headphones or anything into the front thing, I hear clicks when the hard drive is accessed. What could be causing this interference? There's 2 plugs: HD audio, and AC97 audio. Should I use the AC97 instead?

I have the same problem on my case. I use onboard sound. The only conclusion I could come up with was that the USB ports from the case are cheap or something isn't ground correctly. I tried to fix my problem but never could. I gave up on the front ports.
