Default Mozilla 1.4 woes

Well, whenever I start up Mozilla 1.4, it doesn't display my bookmarks or my links, you know, the ones you create with their own button and such. If I open the bookmarks manager, they all decide to appear. Anyone else having troubles with 1.4?

When you uninstall, make sure you delete the Program Files\mozilla.org directory, and to be on the safe side go into your Application Data directory (via Documents and Settings) and delete the Mozilla folder in there. You'll lose all the skins you downloaded and your preferences, but it's the best way to make sure you're working with a completely clean slate.

I downloaded 1.4 last night and it seems to work all right. It may just be me but it doesn't seem quite as fast as RC3.

In order to keep my settings (since I have a lot of plugins and such too) can I just move my folders, uninstall it, and throw them back in?

EDIT: I've found out that it's my beloved multizilla that's causing me all of this grief! No! Must get new build!

Alright, I installed their nightly, and everything is a-ok.

I have some mozilla 1.4 issues as well. For one it is constantly forgetting my news groups user/password even though I always check to use password manager, and when I open up password manager it does have a listing for my news groups server.
Second, how do you filter out people from news groups, so like I can stop seeing 100+ spam messages from one guy with the same email address, this is easy to do in outlook, you'd think it'd be easy in mozilla but I don't see where it's done.

Well I found out how to ban posters in the news client, but it only works in one news group, you have to specify it 30 times if you want that user banned from 30 news groups. that sux.
