like i said, they're working on different solution and some would need firmware update, while some solution doesn't need the update.

that's why i said "unless it requires so" about firmware update.

i'm sure a lot of game developers might be interested in this and it's good for them in the future since games are growing in size.

i wonder if next xbox and next wii will be using blu-ray. i'm not sure about wii and it depends with microsoft if they want to jump in using blu-ray. ps4 is no brainer unless blu-ray flops unexpectedly.
