Yup they are out. Alienware M15x, the dell XPS 1730 with Dual 8800 gtx's. And I believe a few others with 17" models and the 8800m gtx. Clevo/Sager, vigor and I think widow pc aswell.
Only the Alienware is in a 15.4 form factor. I am enjoying mine but Video driver support sucks. Only drivers AW have released are the 167.55. No other drivers allow the full speed of the 8800m GTX even with modding the INF files.

My laptop:
Sager 5793 -- Intel 2.5Ghz Penryn processor 2x2048 PC2-667 RAM GeForce 8800M GTX 512MB video 17" 1920x1200 display 200GB Seagate Momentus 7200.2 drive With XP64 I get a 9273 in 3DMark06: http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=5071046 I haven't done any hard gaming on it, yet. The only game I've been really playing is Anno1701, and with that game I can play in 1920x1200x32bit, with everything on high, and it's smooth as silk. The 8800M GTX was a $465 upgrade over the stock 8700M. |

9273 seems a littel low. On my AW M15x I can consistently score over 10k.
I also noticed your running the 169.61 driver set. If I am not mistaken the only drivers that are enabling the full speed of teh GPU are the manufactures released drivers. It is a known problem with both Alienware and Sager/Clevo with the 8800m GTX. Try installing the newest drivers directly from the Sager website and then re run 3dMark06, your score should improve. http://64.208.175.44/pages/notebooks...oductType=5792 Here are the specs. AW M15x 2.8 Ghz Extrme 8800m GTX 2 Gigs, 667 Ram 200 Gig 7200rpm HDD 1440x900 15.4" Screen with ClearView tech Over all the system has been a love hate releationship. The system has performed extremly well. Although my system's CPU continually over heats. And my onsite warranty at an extra $300 means still sending this system back to Florida for repairs. So now I am fighting to get my money back on that warranty. ONSITE is ONSITE to me. not send it back to Florida, at my own expense. So if anyone buys this system the be aware of the onsite warranty.

I was thinking of that alienware. But last night I discovered Sagernotebooks.com!!
I can get a Q6700, Dual 8800GTX's, 4 Gb of corsair ram on a notebook!!! So i've decided im getting an alienware X15, cyberpowerpc X-8800 with a single 8800GTX, or a top of the line sager notebook
