Unlike Microsoft where you have to pay £70 for a 20GB drive. One of the few things Sony got right with the design of the ps3.

I do. Playing call of duty on the ps3 is a far worse off experience than playing it on the PC. Small number of players is my main gripe in multiplayer maps

I am just going to get an 8800 GT or something.

What do you mean one of the few things? I reckon that got everything right. It's sleek, quiet, has lots of plug and slots for things, wireless, bluetooth. It's just most games are ports and don't really get along with the cell. I guess they probably should have made it easier to work with...

I agree, Sony made a amazing Blu-Ray player on their first try. I do wonder when their video game console is coming out though.

If you can get a good deal on it and don't mind the lack of wireless and card readers go for it. Other than those two things and the smaller HD its pretty much identical to the 60GB -which was their best model yet imho. You can always add a usb wi-fi adapter and larger hd for cheap if need be later on.

yea the lack of wireless doesnt bother me at all. mainly, i like how i can get one for under $300. also, you can update the HDD right?

i mean, wtf is the point in buying a $300+ BD player when i dont care if the audio isnt lossless and i can get to play some exclusives (MGS4 comes to mind) lol

HDD is an easy update. pop a bit out of the side and exchange like a cartridge. Well I assume that how it goes. Haven't tried it myself.
