Unhappy FX 5200 Go on Tecra M2 and DPMS off state

Hello, I have one little problem with DPMS:
Slackware 11, Toshiba Tecra M2, nvidia drivers - 171.06, and two previous releases also have the same results.
When I'am triying to switch off the screen by command:

xset dmps force off

, it swithes the display to off state like it must be in norm, but after few seconds it switches the screen in state ON automatically. I checked everything, there are no demons running that could do that, and absolutely the same configuration of OS works without any problems with DPMS on my second notebook with radeon 7000 onboard.
xset -q shows that DPMS Enabled.

Ho to fix it, and is here the solution for ?
