Question How can I force the S-Video activation?

Hi there,
I have a laptop with the Ge Force go 6150 and a S-Video to RCA
converter wich I use with a Radeon card to see movies in the TV.

but whereas the Radeon card detects that I plugged to the TV
using the converter, my nvidia card doesn't unless its connected
directly to the S-Video input wich my TV doesn't have.

Is there a way to force the activation of S-Video output?
after all I know that the cable is connected to the TV.

PD: I'm using driver 100.14.19
