I have a GeForce 2 MX 400 (with 32MB of RAM). I just installed NVIDIA-Linux-x86-96.43.05-pkg1.run and I have tested a few games (Quake3, Nexuiz, Quake1 ports).
My question is how do I see the card's temperature. a cat /proc/drivers/nvidia/cards/0 gives me this: Quote:

I swaped the GeForce 2 MX 400 with a GeForce 2 Ti. It's model Asus V7700.
I compiled NVClock, but when I try nvclock -T it sais "Error: temperature monitoring isn't supported on your videocard". However, on MS-Windows, there is a utility inside the drivers CD called SmartDoctor (the executable is named VGAProbe.exe) that can show me the temperature. Am I out of luck? :-/ |
