Default 169.12 Fan Speed at 100% on 6800 ultra

I upgraded my drivers to the latest stable 169.12 and now my fan speed is at 100% all the time, it is an HTPC hooked up to my HDTV before (in a closet with proper cooling) but now it's unbearable even in there and it's on 24/7 so the fan won't last that way

Using nvclock is dangerous (since it fixes fan speed, otherwise I would set it up to 20% and under load i would expect fan speed to raise but didn't really happen) also i can't read temperature on my card, I think that worked on that other OS

Attatched the bug report
