Nvidia Quadro FX 5600 on Linux Enterprise 5.1 Advanced Server/Workstation
Hi guys, (sorry for my bad English)
so i have a problem with my system here: I have Windows Vista Ultimate x64 and Linux Enterprise 5.1 AS/Workstation. Because of the nice NVLDDMKM.SYS error buy using my second display when working with Autodesk Maya i decided to go into Linux for better performance and prevent system crushing...
My VGA is PNY Quadro FX 5600, have two Xeon processor each with 4 cores and 12 GB Ram...
Because of using XEN (i don't think i have an other option without buying a second Workstation - not possible), i want to install NVIDIA driver for OpenGL under Linux and there comes the error
ERROR: The kernel you are installing for is a Xen kernel! ... so took me days to find any information for installing...not possible...
I am attaching the .log file from Linux...hope i can run my VGA soon with Opengl on Linux...
What i have found - there are several Workstation working with the same version of Linux and Quadro cards without having problems - HP, Dell, etc...
thanks if anyone can help me...
