Hi, I am trying to get my system working but am having some trouble with the driver. I have an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7300 graphics card in my laptop (Insiron 6400) I'm running Fedora 8 and I have the NVIDIA driver 169.12 driver installed. It works great for all the 2D stuff (looks a lot better than the "nv" driver) but it doesn't seem to let me use any 3D stuff. I can't enable desktop effects or run any 3D games. Any suggestions? Here is my xorg.conf

post nvidia-bug-report.sh output? or at least Xorg.0.log.
And you should be safe removing that 'virtual' line. |

what part of the bug-report should I post? It's really long. And where is Xorg.0.log.... I'm new at this.

all of it. If you post the log, you don't need to post Xorg.0.log. It will be included.
Xorg.0.log is in /var/log. Together with other interessting stuff. |

Ok... apparently adding the entire output is too much.. the forum says " The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters." When I add the output of the log file... so Here is the Xorg.0.log... in 2 pieces because it's too large too........

yeah, your problem: X is loading the wrong glx module.
>Loading /usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions//libglx.so please recheck your driver installation. Have you installed all parts? Are the driver files in directories X looks into? Oh, and you can just add the stuff as attachments. |

I uninstalled the NVIDIA driver and reinstalled exactly the same way... Now it works properly.... for now
