Default Support for PALiT NE/9600T+0152 GeForce 9600GT 512MB?

I'm putting together a parts list for my next MythTV box and was thinking of getting this card:

PALiT NE/9600T+0152 GeForce 9600GT 512MB

The only problem is that I don't think it's supported by 169.12. Does that mean that it wouldn't work at all and the driver install would fail after it detects the card and knows it's not supported? I'm very interested in using HDMI on the card to the HDMI on my Sony Bravia.

I'd like to future proof myself with this next rig and the card looks like it would be a very nice fit for MythTV and my 1080i TV but I'd be pretty upset if it didn't work at all in Linux after purchasing it and I'd have to wait many months or a year for the driver to support it.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
