Default is Nvidia 6200TC ok for HDTV?

I ran a quick benchmark for my 6200TC and got between 1700-1800fps.
Is this acceptable for HDTV if not what is ok for HD1080i

I have a MythBox which is getting occasional frame skipping on my AMD 3200+

CPU is at 30-40% and XVMc is enabled so I assume its the Video card

Note for SDTV on HD1080i output its ok but when I switched to hd480p to get rid of tearing I get very occasional frameskip/freeze
