Hi everyone,
I'm trying to build a high-end system and here is the spec. I got so far: TYAN S2915WA2NRF-E SSI / Extended ATX Server Motherboard 2x AMD Opteron 2350 2.0GHz Socket F 75W Processor 2x Kingston 4GB(2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 FB-DIMM Dual Channel Kit Server Memory BFG Tech GeForce 9800 GX2 BFGE981024GX2E Video Card Antec TITAN650 Black Server Case HD: 500 (SATA) OS: Vista Business 64-bit The only problem I have is not sure what type of fan/heatsink I should get for Opteron cpus...! I'm looking for something quiet, I'm going to use this system to play games, rendering and programming ![]() Also if you think I could improve things in this list let me know ![]()

I would stray away from AMD. If you want dual CPUs go with Skulltrail.

here is what I mean, the cheapest price I found for a Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 is around $1,119.00 and a QX97750 costs around ~$1,694.00 ... so I would assume QX9775 would be around ~$1,900.00 ...! well the system I have listed (in my first post), costs around ~$1900 (US), from newegg; Unfortunately newegg doesn't ship to Canada !
