Sorry I guess I didn't pay attention too well to that part of your post.
At least Nvidia has apparenlty fixed that problem.But I still consider that, since the problem I described still exists (on many systems), their driver still appears badly broken. |

Codermotor,
First, have you heard or found anything more about this issue? I seem to be experiencing the same problem as you, but I have a question: when your system idles, does your screen go black and you cannot resume without restarting X? I'm getting that along with everything you described, and I'm wondering if they are two issues occurring independently of one another, or caused by the same problem. |

This old problem is still here, with standard framebuffer (800x600?), with 1024x768 (vga=791), after suspend to RAM...
Last working version NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-9631 (~december 2006, with 3D rendering lacks and other problems). |
