Now who do I bug about this, Nvidia or Compiz-Fusion?
compiz has its own issues, if I understand various threads correctly... I just killed kwin and fired up compiz and compiz-window-decorator (that stuff is pretty fancy!) and still no problems here on the K icon in konqueror. lol, as soon as I unmaximized my Firefox window, Compiz moved the top of the window off the top of the screen, now I can't move the window... Ah thank goodness for alt+left click move!!

I just wanted to let people know (in case someone else comes across this), the problem was with emerald, with kde window decorator (compiz fusion running) no problems whatsoever. Switch to emerald and there it was. Recompiling and cleaning all emerald files out didn't change anything.
Definitely emerald
