Default 169.09 monitor detection fails after suspend to ram

I use a little script for suspend to ram which used to work fine with 100.14.*-series drivers, but with 169.** drivers it fails.
Actually it shuts down X, unloads nvidia module (and some other stuff) enters suspend to ram state, reinitialises everything afterwards and starts X.
Well with 169.** it always detects CRT-0 as the only connected monitor after str, although the monitor is connected to DFP-0. Waiting a moment, kill X again and reload it makes everything work again.
bug-reports are attached.

Any ideas on this?
