Default Linux driver support for FX 3000

Will the Linux driver for the FX 3000 support the hardware overlap / edge blending feature talked about in this press release?

http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?IO=IO_20030721_4067

We have a dual projector setup in one of our boardrooms and we currently just "butt" the two projected images together to form a seamless 13ft wide video wall using Xinerama/nView on a Quadro4 980XGL.

With the FX 3000 it sounds like we could do proper edge blending to make it a perfectly seamless display, without chucking $10K for an external box that does the same thing. But only if the Linux driver supports this feature.

Re-reading the webpages more carefully, I see that the "Powerwall" feature is available across most of the FX line of cards (FX 1000, FX 2000, FX 3000, FX3000G). I assume "Powerwall" is the marketing name for the edge blending / luminosity controls available on these cards.

So, to rephrase my original question - is "Powerwall" functionality available in the Linux drive for the FX cards yet? If not, will it be supported and what is the expected release timeframe for this functionality.

We've got two NEC Gt2150 projectors that would look even nicer side-by-side with proper edge blending (http://www.necvisualsystems.com/appl...Product_id=259) :-)
