It works though. Earlier today I tanked Jan'alai in zul'aman with no problems. With the exception of my cloak, chest, a few rings, and my earthwarden staff, I tank in all pvp gear. Goes smoothly, and once he hits berzerk the healers might actually have to start healing me.

One of the healers commented that I was a beast because I can hold that up so well That and I sit at 22k hitpoints when fully raid buffed, all without any tier gear whatsoever.
