Hello,
I just bought $subject, and I have this odd problem regarding resolution: it works fine at 1920x1200, but I would like to reduce it to a smaller value. It is barely possible to read the text like this, and increasing the DPI creates other odd problems. After 2 days of googling, reading and xorg.conf editing I gave up. What I've found out is that the monitor reports only one resolution (throught EDID?), that being 1920x1200, and the driver complies. I have tried other combinations, but it always failed by "black screen" if EDID is disabled, or just starts with 1920x1200 if EDID is enabled. I am attaching my last Xorg.0.log, and I will provide you with other information if required. My OS is FreeBSD 7.0. I hope someone can help me, and thanks in advance. Claudiu. |
