My GTX 280 gets up to 74 degrees celsius under full load and drops back down under 50 degrees when I exit from a game. Also, I'm running the core at 648MHz. Is this too high. What are your temps?

No kidding, case already has 3x120mm fans, and one blowing directly at the card, fan on the card is clearly working as it sounds like a mini tornado in my case when playing crysis.
I think refund, not sure I want to bother with a replacement. |

Yeah got up to around 85 playing Crysis..
Personally I'd like it to be a little cooler.. but my cooling honestly sucks.. for the moment. Fan is manually set at 70%, side panel off.. |

49C idle.
Load depends on the game. It can be as low as 66C and as high as 81C.

Yeah I'm not sure what the deal is but my core temps under load slowly creep up
to 90, and then even 100 but i stop whatever app im running before it gets there.. (this is with fan speed to auto, and running at 100%) case open, fan blowing in.. mind you it is a little warm in my apartment but, 100 ?? should i be considering RMA'ing this puppy ? |
