I want to see GTX280 vs SLI 8800GTX in 1280*1024 and 1680*1050 (1600*1200) resolution. All these review for insane high resolution are totally pointless for 98% of gamers around the globe.

No they are not. I run 1680*1050 (Widescreen and it's sweet spot).

I agree. It's about value of the card. I want to see single 8800GTX vs GTX280 and SLI 8800GTX vs GTX280 in 1280*1024 and 1600*1200 resolution to see how GTX280 scales.
