i believe we will be able too, i read somewhere that they said to save ur ME1 saves

I hope it uses ME1 saves, or atleast what they did in KOTOR2 where a character asks you what happened and your responses build what happened in KOTTOR1.

What is this talk of Frictionless Materials mods? I've got the level VII specter pistol and sniper rifle with 2 Rail Extension VII upgrades on each (+29% damage and -20% cooling for each upgrade) but I've never seen any frictionless materials mods.

I actually haven't seen a lot of these:

Am I missing stuff?

EDIT: Nevermind, those charts were kind of confusing. I see that a few of those mods start at level VIII.

Fictionless doesn't appear until you start hitting level IX stuff. They are rare, but a must have on all your main weapons, it reduces overheat AND adds damage.

A Sniper rifle + 2x frictionless + High Explosive Rounds becomes a rocket launcher.

Hells yeah. They overheat your gun like crazy and are usless on pistols and Assault rifles, but on the sniper, with decent sniping skills (Infiltrator with Commando prestige) most bosses will go down in a few well places shots (if you take the shields down with overload and use Assassination), even quicker if you setup Garrus the same way. Due to the overheat, you might have to stall the boss with Sabotage or find strong cover.

I've been having pretty good luck with Liara and Garrus. I'm playing as an Infiltrator Operative.

I maxed out Liara's lift and throw abilities and man does she tear some s**t up.

I just did the Feros level and one of those Thorian Creepers jumped out from behind a wall and almost barfed on me and Liara blasted him with Throw point blank directly into the wall next to me. It was so damned funny.

Yeah, Liara's bionics do come in handy. Except when she dumps a crate down a tunnel you have to get down. If you're lucky you'll be able to shift it with some more biotics and a well placed grenade or two.

I two often play as a Infiltrator with Liara and Garrus to even things out, right now I'm a Sentinal going on to Medic with Ash and Kaiden.

One thing I've noticed as a Pistol\Sniper only guy is that the weapons later on in the game have such high accuracy that they are actually useful even when untrained. They don't do as much damage as the weapons I've trained with, but early Assault Rifles that have an accuracy of 1 or 0 are completely worthless untrained. The later ones (50-60 accuracy) seem to hit their mark pretty well at a reasonable distance.

Nothing beats the ridiculous power of my pistol and sniper rifle with two rail extensions VII mods each though. Its so funny killing 5 geth with 12-15 shots from a pistol.

About halfway through the game I bought the mother of all assault rifles from the quarter master (remember kids: buy those licenses!). It was the HMMV or something like that, with damage, heat and accuracy all nearly maxed out. My soldier could snipe with that thing, taking out Geth destroyers from across the room with only a few burst. I felt sorry for the regular Geth troopers...

Yeah, that's one of the Specter weapons. You have to have a million credits to unlock the achievement that gives those weapons to the quarter master. I don't think there is any license required for that one.

There are only two lines of armor worth buying right now (Scorpion and Mantis) and both are the desert camo look. All I know is that after I got that assault rifle, I barely touched any of the other weapons (and I bought the entire HMMV line!).

I also had a very good 7th level (IIRC) woodland camo heavy armor. I forget what it was called.
