Default ARGGGGH!!!!!!!

need a lil help here,just bought some parts for my new comp.Problem is i bought

I plan on going with an ATI 4870 which is PCI-e 2 if i'm not mistaken,but i cant seem to find any info if that mobo is pci-e,pci-e 1.1 or pci-e 2........

If anything i guess ill have to send the mobo back if it's not at least pci-e 1.1

Sigh,i can't believe i over looked that one tiny detail,order the board tonight,hope i can get new egg to cancel the board.

Any one able to recommend a good pci-e 1.1 or pci-e 2 mobo that supports 45nm C2D with out a bios flash ( do not have another cpu to flash with )

Budget of 125.00 or less

The P35 chipset is 2.0 capable but it's up to the manufacturer to make it available. If it's not specified as PCIe 2.0 then it most likely isn't. The X38,X48,P45 chipsets on the other hand do come with PCIe 2.0 slots... For example this motherboard:

It's not...

But, video cards that are 2.0 are also capable of working perfectly with 1.0 and 1.1 slots... So don't worry about it.

nvidia p790i (diamond or platinum) i guess is pci 2.0 im not sure but i can check and let you know in a day....
