Just canceled my AoC account, game sucks IMO.

I deleted the beta yesterday... I was already bored with the game at lvl 32. Combat system is a joke after playing AoC... hell WoW has a better combat system...

Oh and if you don't believe I was in the beta...

You have now lost any credibility in my eyes. AoC's combat system is the biggest lawl, ever. I just hate the fact I wasted $50 on that turd even after playing the beta and knowing full well what I was getting into.

AoC combat system was fun for a while, but the novelty is sortof wearing off.
Often it doesnt seem to detect that Im pressing a direction key and the combo just fades out instead of trigger.
And when Im chasing some dude trying to trigger a multistage combo meanwhile, I accidently break it by moving while its playing.. its getting to be more in the way now..

Heh ditto that. I wish I had that $100 back too. I did the beta and convinced myself it would be better if the wife played and I got outta Tortage.

They have cut 4 classes and 4 cities from the game.

I have canceled my pre-order.

One capital per faction might make the fighting for them more intense.
What classes were cut? Its not like there is a huge lack of classes in the game though.
I got a good feeling about mythic, they seem to take drastic meassures when they feel they need to, instead of doing the easy thing and just release with glaring issues.
Cutting stuff isnt always bad, usually not very good either, but hey? sometimes you gotta do something..

In the latest of an ongoing series of interviews with MMORPG.com, Mythic Entertainment VP and General Manager Mark Jacobs has dropped big news on the Warhammer Online fanbase: major features are being culled from the game in order to make their Fall launch deadline. In short, the capital cities for the Dark Elf, High Elf, Orc, and Dwarf factions will not be in the game at launch. The Human city of Altdorf and the Chaos Inevitable City will be the only Capital cities in the game. This is an enormous change, seemingly changing much of what we know about the game's core of RvR gameplay.

Additionally, four classes are being removed, deemed to be in a condition unsuitable for launch. They are:

The Choppa (Greenskin)
The Hammerer (Dwarf)
The Blackguard (Dark Elf)
The Knight of the Blazing Sun (Empire)
As the website notes, all of these are melee classes and two of these were intended to be the primary tanking classes for their race. This leaves the Empire and Dark Elf races without a dedicated tanking career, possibly limiting their contributions to end-game PvE content.

Only two races will have capital cities. There is now only one Greenskin class. Also, the Empire does not have a tank class, but their arch enemies (Chaos) has a tank class. The Empire will be slaughtered on the field of battle.
