That goes far beyond changing the graphics/lightning- the dude is fighting during a partly sunny day (notice the rainbow), and you'd rather make it a rainy night? I don't know about you, but I'd rather leave the story and the way it unfolds to the developers and not some emo/goth photochopper on the interweb.

Also, we have only seen a tiny part of the first act. It's been 20yrs since DII and evil has recluded from the world of Sanctuary. The ****storm is about to happen though so it will most likely get darker as you progress through the game.

I have seen the rainbow but I haven't seen any sign of sun, the sky is filled with gray, storm clouds. And there is rain on the original image too.

Looks like **** to me. Nothing realistic about it, unless you're wearing a strong pair of sunglasses and are colorblind.

While I do believe that the photoshopped image is more like the older diablo series, I have to say I can't agree that there needs to be a change. The photoshopped image looks like it is in a dungeon and not outdoors so it shouldn't look that way IMO. Personally I think the original image is better depending on the context of what is going on.

I agree with glObalist on this one, leave the story and game direction to Blizzard. They haven't let me down yet so I'd rather go with them than to the fanboys who are making rants based on a few out of context screen shots.

The photoshopped screenshot is way better. It has that dark gritty evil and dangerous style. The original has that fairy tale graphic style with all colors included in childs paint set. No Mary Poppins **** here thank you.

Only a moron would see "dark gritty evil and dangerous" vs. "fairy tale" from the simple graphic filter applied on the image. Though judging from your posting history you fit that bill perfectly.

The only thing the shooped image does for me is give me eye strain.

photoshopped shot looks more sharp, i'm not talking about color template. look at the bridge, there is more detail visible, sharper textures.
