Nice. I'm downloading two versions of iAtkos at the moment, they only have 5 hours to go lol. In the mean time, I'm going to install Ubuntu and give it a go on the new lappy. I'm going to dual boot between Ubuntu and OS X.

Onboard ALC889a chip.

FYI - the 10.5.4 system update was released yesterday. Its mostly bug fixes. You can upgrade if your using the vanilla kernel, mine upgraded without a hitch.

Ah, i'm on the fence about installing MacOS. Was curious as to whether they support the Creative cards at all yet, guess not lol.

Blah, my P5B-VM says it does spidif and optical, but i can't find the panel lol

Do a search, there could be generic drivers that may work for creative cards.

No. More people have had success on a IDE drive than a SATA and as far as a DVD Drive goes, I believe most of us are using SATA as well.

I finally downloaded the "iAtkosBS2" over night and it's finally getting to the installation point. I'm currently installing it on my Vostro and going to attempt to dual boot it with Windows XP Pro. Wish me luck, I'll let you guys know how it goes.
