4870x2 is dual GPU card, it will be faster then GTX280, but a lot harder to mantain. Crossfire is in a lot worse shape then SLi.

Yeah, but it's always fun to try something new! And because a lot of people are going to be using crossfire this generation, I believe it's going to get much more attention from the ati driver team. We'll know by the end of this month though..

Really? I would of thought they'd iron out 90% of the bugs for their 4870x2 making owning one a near seamless procedure. If I hear of a bunch of issues, I may just got GTX280 instead I guess. <shrug>

I have nothing but great things to say about my MSI 8800GT, hopefully it will be the same with my 2 MSI 260s

Loving these deals... I'll wait for the die shrink when the 260 or 280 gets to a single slot height. I made the mistake of buying my 8800 GTS too soon.

Ok, MSI's GPUs are probably good, but their motherboards have horrible issues. FSB holes, man!

Bman, I don't see how that saying is relevant to buying a low priced GPU. By the time EVGA drops their prices, MSI will have their cards at $200.

WoW! This is impressive plus Nvidia is ready to fight! I am waiting on the X2 and the die shrink from Nvidia before buying, unless X2 is just out of this world.
