I know really what I'm talking. HD4870X2 is great card but, it seems that HD4000 series are behind GTX series in DX10.0. COD4 is not true DX10 game. Crysis and Lost Planet might be actually projections of what we can expect from ATI 4000 series and NVidia GTX series in the future. Well Nvidia does it better.

True, but if it's more than $50-$75 more than the 512mb version, I'm going to be disappointed.

I'm not throlling anything here, i'm speaking the fact. I don't deny that HD4870X2 is the fastest card, but not really pleased to what i see in DX10.0 part, that's all.

If i find the way to enable SSAA on the ATi cards, i could be buying a couple of X2's

If ATI can release a 2gb 4870x2 (1gb effective) at a price that's competitive with a single gtx280, then Nvidia is going to be sunk this generation unless the gtx290 really kicks ass.

there is no way to enable SSAA, maybe if you start writing your own ATi drivers

If they can put out drivers that make the 4870 x2 work to its full potential in most games (Crysis needs to be fixed for sure) then I agree completely.

Exactly. 0 % scaling in any game is just inexcusable. I can't remember which one it was, but there was a preview that benched Crysis with a 4870 and an X2 and there was 0 increase from going to the X2...

they probably had earlier version of a driver, this card performance will really depend how much effort ati puts it in every single game on the market.
