At these prices I now think the 260GTX is a better buy than the 4870. If nVidia had launched at these prices to begin with, they could have avoided all this negativity and prevented ATi from getting such overwhelmingly positive reviews. But for the first time in a while ATi actually managed to catch nVidia off guard.
But nVidia was probably hesitant to launch at these prices because of how expensive the 280/260 are to produce. |

Props to ATI this round but 260 is the better deal as of right now. |

Yeah, at $10 I have skipped many rebates just because I would rather be lazy than fill some stuff out and get a 10 dollar check in 2 months.
But ZZF has the FTW edition for 299 after rebate (out of stock at the moment) |
