Default slowdowns still with latest driver

i have nvidia geforce2.

any drivers after 3123 are much slower for me.
i have rh9, gnome2 environment.
when i minimize galeon or scroll websites, or deal with other big apps, it's VERY slow to redraw with 4363.

Default

Same here. Gnome feels really sluggish, especially compared to the w2k install on my machine.

Default can something be done?

this has persisted with all newer driver versions.

minimizing programs or just scrolling up/down websites is very choppy and slow!

can't something be done?
