Default Clive Barker's Jericho question

What is 'Advanced Smoothing?

And more importantly, how do you turn off Depth of Field?

I hate how everything in the distance is blurry till I put my reticule towards it. Lame.

Yeah, after messing around a bit, seems to be some sort of special in-game AA. If I use CP and force FSAA, the frame rate totally tanks to the low teens. Max AA using in-game stays above 30fps and look just as good as CP AA.

Figured out the DoF lameness. Set game.cfg to this turned off all the blurry junk:
Code:
RT_DOF                         = 0                                   ### Init Depth Of Field Render target (0/1)
RT_RadialBlur                  = 0                                   ### Init RadialBlur Render target (0/1)

Half decent game btw. Some funny dialoge. Sorta of scary at times. Not an intelligent game by any means but fun in a no-brainer Painkiller sort of way. Certainly wouldn't pay more than the $10 I did pay for it.
