I will try that, and this steam install is really old. I keep it on its on partition, and just link the shortcut to my new os install.

The only way I've been able to fix it is to use riva tuner, set a certain clock speed for games and desktop, and enable the game profile/fan speed when I go ingame. Works well i must say.

What kind of PSU are you pairing with it?

I'm just wondering if when it's under a heavy workload it isn't getting enough juice. If you have Crysis, WiC, or another game that really nails the GPU, see if those are effected as well.

There will be an new 750 corsair in tomorrow, but I now have an 530 enermax in.

I haven't played crysis yet to test, but COD4 is fine, as is Bioshock. I think it is a sw conflict with Source.

Install the 177.79 drivers, that should fix the issues.
