Default F.E.A.R/EP

The basic game plays fine, but the EP expansion back has an extremely low frame rate. It stutters so badly that it is unplayable. Is there any way to tweak this to solve the problem?

QFT. If you are dead set on keeping your current rig... you might consider one of these cards. Of course, the 3850s would be recommended, but any of them will be nigh-and-day faster than that 7800GS.
