Thinking of Getting an HDTV finally.

$1799 with $300 entertainment package that i can sell off for money in the pocket. Store has 36 months interest Free, no deposit.

What do you guys think?

Not bad, but for that price I would expect 100hz refresh rate. Gets 8/10 in most reviews.

As I've said before. That 100Hz Truemotion stuff is a rip off. It sounds good, but once you see it in action... You'll never use it again. It basically degrades the imagine and makes it look like a 'behind the scenes featurette'. It's hard to explain, but once you see it you'll know what I mean.

As for the set itself, it's a great price, but LG just isn't upto the level of Sony, Sammy Sung and Philips

I know, but you do get that for the price you pay. I mean, it's $2799 for the equal Bravia, Panasonic $2399, Sharp $2699, etc.

Ture, for the price you can't complain, and with your eye sight, you'd probably never notice the difference. :

Well, i bought it... The really odd thing is, It tends to think that it can't go any higher than 30Hz @ 1920x1080 while hooked up to the PC.

Make sure you set the refresh rate and res. in the CP, not windows. I had problems with that.

Heh, that was through CP. I found the problem though. 175.19 couldn't do it. 177.79 can though.
