We reproduced the issue and filed bug 431339. The team is investigating now.

I did a quick check on the livna site and they seem to keep only the most recent RPM posted.
I rolled back to the previous testing rpm in livna by doing:

Code:
#remove the old
yum -y erase kmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs
#reinstall the testing rpm from the livna-testing repo
yum --disablerepo=livna -enablerepo=livna-testing install kmod-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia xorg-x11-drv-nvidia-libs

#you may need to manually rebuild the akmod driver by doing:
akmods

#then reboot

Ahh, I didn't realize that the last livna release I had pulled from livna-testing. Thanks for the assist lutherm1, I rolled back successfully. Thanks!

I root caused the problem and expect it to be resolved in future graphics driver releases. Unfortunately, there is no workaround, nor can I speculate on when an updated driver will become available.

I have the same problem under Gentoo x86_64 (Quadro Fx 350 card on a dell laptop).
I guess I have to stay with the old driver complaining about bad caching adress....

Same problem here on Fedora 8 with drivers from the Livna repository (also on a Dell laptop with a Quadro Fx 350)

kernel-2.6.25.4-10.fc8.i686
173.14.05 drivers

hoping for an update in the not too distant future

FWIW: I seem to have the same problem -- same hardware (dell d820 + Quadro 110) -- Software slightly different: Fedora 8; kernel 2.6.25.4-10-fc8. I have always use the 'run' pkg from nvidia.

Here is my boog report (if that helps)

I get exactly the same error (DELL PRECISION M65 with nvidia "Quadro FX 350M" card )... kmod-nvidia version 173.14.05-4 and kernel 2.6.25.6-55.fc9.x86_64 (fedora 9).

The new 173.14.09 driver seems to work with 2.6.26-rc6.

The beta 177.13 driver still has the same problem as 173.14.05.

Confirmed. Works with 173.14.12, kernel 2.6.25. Dell D820, Nvidia 7400 Go.

Beta 177.13 does not work.
